Hello Parents and Guardians,
This is an important email regarding picking up school supplies and personal items. We will be handing out supplies by class. We will start with our kindergartens classes but will be sure to organize supplies from For the safety of our students, families, staff and community, please read it carefully and ensure you follow all directions when you come to the school.
1. Drive into the parking lot through the regular entrance and PARK in a parking spot.
2. ONE ADULT exits the vehicle. Any other family members remain in the vehicle. We love your children and we want to keep them safe by respecting physical distancing requirements and minimizing the interactions of people.
3. Tables will be labelled by grade. Approach the table for whom you are collecting supplies. If there is someone in line already, please give them the two meter distancing space required, as marked by orange cones. If there are 2 people already waiting in line, please wait in your vehicle.
4. Approach the table and pick up your child’s bag, which is labelled, and return to your vehicle.
As much as we miss our students and families, this is not a time to visit as we wish for this process to move quickly and efficiently to stop the spread of COVID-19. Some staff members will be present to assist with the process and say hello; those not present are respecting the need to minimize the number of people in the parking lot tomorrow afternoon.
If you intend for someone else to pick up your child(ren)’s supplies, please reply to Isy at this email (idemedeiros@cispg.ca) informing her who is picking up on your behalf. We wish to avoid you arriving to pick up your supplies, only to find that another parent has done so.
We are relying on parents to respect these directions and adhere to all physical distancing requirements. We thank you for working with us to stop the spread of COVID-19 while collecting your child(ren)’s supplies.
As stated in the newsletter, the pick up times are by last name and are as follows:
1:00 – 1:30 A – F
1:30 – 2:00 G – M
2:00 – 2:30 N –
2:30 – 3:00 S – Z
